I’m a reporter at The Seattle Times, where I cover race and equity. Before that, I worked as a reporter at The Sacramento Bee, covering underserved and marginalized communities, as well as county government issues. I was also a 2020-21 Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellow.

I previously interned at The New York Times and at NPR’s Weekend Edition in Washington, D.C. In 2017, I was a fellow with the Asian American Journalists Association's Voices program. I’m a graduate of UC Berkeley, where I served as the managing editor at The Daily Californian, an award-winning student paper.
